We received five bids to construct our new wastewater treatment plant. We opened them in public at Community Center West on Wednesday. They range from a low of $11,420,000 to a high of $13,352,000. JDS Hydro, the district’s contractor, will recommend one bid to the board at its regularly scheduled meeting on May 25, and the board will then vote to choose a contractor. A new-and-improved facility is on its way. Stay tuned!
