Joshua Killett, President

Joshua Killett has lived in Woodmen Hills since May 2011. He currently owns and operates JPS Express Train, a small business that provides equipment to children’s parties. He is also a substitute teacher in School District 49 and a volunteer coach with the Special Olympics. Previously, he served as the president of the Woodmen Hills Filing 11 HOA from 2012 – 2014. Before that, he served proudly in the U.S. Army for 11 years, five months, and three days.

He was elected to the board in 2016.

Walter Porter, Treasurer

Walter and his family moved to Woodmen Hills from New Hampshire on Halloween of 2009. Previously, he worked in a public works department for over 30 years, primarily as a water technician running a municipal water department.

Experience in construction, parks, cemeteries, and roads equipped Walter with diversified experience.  In addition to his professional work, Walter served on the board of directors of a non-profit volunteer ambulance service for 13 years and as an on-call firefighter/EMT for 30 years.

He was elected to a four-year term on the board in 2014.

Anthony M. (Mike) Pizzi, Secretary

Mike spent his career as a police officer in a town called Swampscott on the north shore of Boston. While a police officer, he used to come hunting in Colorado.

After retiring, he and his wife decided they needed to be in Colorado and they spent five years looking for the perfect place to live here. Then they found Woodmen Hills. Mike enjoys reading history and he likes to spend his vacations in the Caribbean.

He was appointed to a board vacancy in 2016.

Ronnie Parks, Director

Ronnie and his wife, Gale, moved to Colorado in 1993 and have lived in Woodmen Hills since October 2004.  He retired from the Air Force in 2001 after serving on active duty for 24 years.  He currently works as a defense contractor supporting the Air Force at Peterson AFB.

He was appointed to a board vacancy in 2017.

Jina St. James, Director

Jina and her husband became residents of Woodmen Hills in 2012. They have five children ranging in age from 15 years old to 1 year old. They fell in love with Woodmen Hills when they saw the community atmosphere and kid-friendly environment. Jina is a full-time Realtor who specializes in new home builds and resale and also does a little commercial. She helps run a local networking group for local business including home-based, store front and direct sales.

She was appointed to a board vacancy in 2017.
