FAQs

Does Woodmen Hills host children’s birthday parties or provide space for other events?

Woodmen Hills provides both residents and non-residents with the opportunity to reserve a space for birthday parties, meetings, and other celebratory events. Both locations provide tables and chairs and users are welcome to bring decorations, food and drink, and games. Please contact Recreation Center East to reserve space, or for more information including room availability.

The East location also provides access to the indoor pool, an option perfectly suited for children’s birthday parties. Reservations may be booked Saturday or Sunday 12:30 – 2:30pm or 3:30 – 5:30pm for $75 (residents) or $100 (non-residents). Private, after hours, reservations may be booked on the weekend from 6 – 8pm if you wish to have a party inclusive to your guests only; private rentals may be booked for $150 (residents) or $200 (non-residents).

The West location provides a larger space for reservations, ideal for meetings and other celebratory events without the increased noise and traffic present at the East location. This space may be reserved at an hourly rate of $25/hr (residents) or $35/hr (non-residents) along with a $50 refundable damage deposit check.
